Pyrolytic Carbon(PyC) Coated Graphite Ring

In SiC PVT crystal growth setups, graphite parts are run at very high temperatures for long periods. VeTek’s PyC coated graphite ring is built for that kind of duty. A pyrolytic carbon layer gets deposited onto high-purity graphite via CVD. This gives the part better surface stability and fewer particles coming off during operation. You usually put it in the thermal field area to help manage vapor flow and how heat spreads inside the furnace. The coating also slows down graphite sublimation when things go above 2200°C, which makes the whole component last longer.

1. Product Features

Dense, pore-free PyC coating: forms a uniform, tight layer that cuts down gas permeability and particle contamination during crystal growth.
Handles high temperatures well: stays structurally sound in vacuum or inert gas above 2200°C.
● Very high purity: made from purified graphite plus high-purity CVD, so impurity levels stay ultra-low.
Good thermal shock resistance: low thermal expansion means it takes rapid heating and cooling without cracking.
Better corrosion resistance: keeps the graphite substrate safe from chemical attack and high-temperature sublimation damage.
Longer service life: lasts much longer than uncoated graphite rings, so you don’t have to service the furnace as often.
