Yttrium Oxide

Yttrium Oxide (Y₂O₃) is a rare-earth oxide ceramic with a high melting point and excellent chemical and photochemical stability. This category mainly addresses the needs for material erosion resistance and optical transparency in plasma etching chamber windows, corrosion-resistant coatings, and high-temperature optical components used in semiconductor processes. Typical applications include yttrium oxide coatings (often combined with alumina to produce ceramic windows), high-purity yttrium oxide structural parts, and photochemically stable components.
