TOKAI 's typical graphite and application areas:


 HK1: Rough machining of large mould dies and die-casting applications.

 HK2: Roughing out and finishing of medium to small high accuracy, sharp definition mould and press tools.

●  HK3: HK-3 is a premier grade of ultra-fine graphite, best used where ultra-high definition and excellent edge wear resistance are critical i.e. high quality mould making, aerospace industries and fine detailed rib forms. Good MRR rate/wear ratio.

●  HK-75: HK-75 is ultra-fine grade of graphite and is used here high surface finishes and good edge wear conditions are critical. It also gives easy machining properties of high definition on corners and profiles. It is best used in the high quality end of the mould manufacturing process.
